Through The Lens: Jakarta, Indonesia

Jakarta, Indonesia. Everything is started here. Until now. The love of traveling was begin while i studied in university. The first mountain that i conquered with my peer group that we called "EGTM" is Mount Gede in West Java at June 2004. After that, i became a "mountainholic" and use every single semester holiday to "meet" nature with EGTM. Time by time goes on and finally at August 2007 i graduated from the university. Job activity and different schedule make it difficult for us hiking together again. Hiking mountain together become very limited for us,however we can make grab our dream to enjoy the beautiful of Mount Rinjani in October 2008. After that we don't regularly hiking together again and my interest are slowly move to traveling and photography. My first camera that i had was Samsung Digital Camera S360. This camera i bought just one day before my graduation in university. Using the camera, i tried to capture moment in time and place. The city's landscape is some of interesting things for me. In the weekend, i usually using my time to get picture of the city. Photography became my hobby and at that time i know that someday i will have my DSLR camera. I finally did it in September 2009. I've got my Canon 1000D as my partner in journey. The picture below are some of landscape of Jakarta that i get with my Samsung S360 (sadly, the camera was broke and cannot used again).
